Job Description:Seeking a hands-on Product Analyst / Product Owner to support a large-scale data transformation initiative focused on migrating 1,200 Alteryx workflows into a modern data environment.

This role is heavily focused on execution and delivery ownership rather than hands-on development or people management. This person will lead daily delivery routines, run stand-ups, manage backlog items, coordinate between internal SMEs and offshore developers, remove blockers, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has enough understanding of data workflows and transformations to ask the right questions and identify gaps, but does not need to be a data engineer or have direct Alteryx/Snowflake expertise. Success in this role requires someone proactive and disciplined who will actively track down answers, challenge incomplete requirements or delivery, and keep work moving without constant direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead stand-ups and daily delivery routines, ensuring priorities, ownership, and next steps remain clear.
  • Coordinate between internal SMEs and offshore developers to resolve questions, clarify requirements, and remove blockers.
  • Support the migration of 1,200 Alteryx workflows into a modern data environment.
  • Partner with SMEs to understand existing business logic, data workflows, requirements, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate requirements discussions, challenge assumptions, and identify missing information or scenarios.
  • Write, review, and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items as needed.
  • Maintain Jira to ensure priorities, dependencies, blockers, defects, and delivery status remain accurate and visible.
  • Coordinate offshore development activities, manage handoffs, and follow up on delivery commitments.
  • Review completed work against requirements and identify incomplete or incorrect delivery.
  • Drive corrections and track defects through resolution.
  • Communicate progress, risks, blockers, and decisions needed to key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of Product Owner, Product Analyst, or similar product delivery experience, with a strong focus on hands-on execution.
  • Demonstrated experience owning day-to-day delivery and holding development teams accountable for timelines and quality.
  • Strong experience with Jira and familiarity with SAFe/Agile practices.
  • Experience coordinating delivery with offshore development teams.
  • Strong requirements-gathering and SME collaboration skills.
  • Experience writing and refining user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
  • Ability to review user stories and requirements, identify gaps or ambiguity, and ask the right follow-up questions before development begins.
  • Working understanding of data workflows, including how data moves between systems, business rules, transformations, and downstream dependencies.
  • Comfortable reviewing completed work, identifying issues, and constructively driving developers toward resolution.
  • Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable in an individual contributor role focused on execution and delivery rather than people management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data migration, data modernization, or data transformation experience.
  • Financial services or asset management experience.
  • Experience validating data quality or migration outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake.
