Legal Assistant / Paralegal - Litigation - TTP

Legal Search Solutions is recruiting for an established and busy insurance claims legal department in Kendall seeking an experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal for a temp-to-hire opportunity.

• Support insurance claims and risk management matters from intake through resolution
• Draft, prepare, and review correspondence, legal documents, and reports
• Organize and maintain claims and legal files
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, attorneys, and outside vendors
• Track deadlines, calendars, follow-ups, and other time-sensitive matters
• Assist with records requests, document gathering, and file preparation
• Conduct legal and factual research as needed
• Provide day-to-day legal and administrative support
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records

• Prior Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience required
• Experience with insurance claims, insurance defense, medical malpractice, risk management, litigation, or a related practice area is strongly preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently
• Professional, team-oriented attitude with strong follow-through
