Now Hiring Inventory Control Clerk / Forklift Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Clerk / Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and distribution center operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory control, shipping and receiving, handheld scanners, and forklift operation in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenishment: Pull products from overstock locations and replenish designated picking locations.
- Stock Putaway: Collect products from Returns and Receiving and place them in designated stock locations or directly into picking locations as needed.
- Inventory Support: Assist order pickers with inventory shortages by retrieving products from overstock locations.
- Shipping & Receiving: Assist with loading and unloading trailers, semis, box trucks, delivery vans, and ocean containers as needed.
- Operate handheld scanners to track inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform inventory control and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, distribution centers, or warehouse shipping and receiving.
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution center, preferably in a third-party logistics (3PL) environment.
- Forklift operating experience.
- Experience using handheld scanners for inventory tracking.
- Ability to load and unload various types of delivery vehicles and containers.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends, particularly toward the end of the month.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Overtime opportunities available.
- Must be available for occasional weekend work as needed.
