POSITION: ENGINEER DEPARTMENT: MAINTENANCE FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the hospital’s buildings, equipment, grounds, and facility systems to ensure safe, clean, functional, and reliable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The position performs routine and preventative maintenance, basic repairs, inspections, and emergency response activities involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, mechanical systems, and general facility upkeep under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Director.
