Schedule: Must be available to service the customer and take appointments between the hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Saturday, with last appointment availability starting at 6:00pm on a rotating schedule, 5 day work week including weekends if your rotation shift falls on a weekend. Must be available to work 2-3 Saturdays per month (50% Saturdays per month).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (80%) Patient Imaging Performs routine and advanced CT procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeatsScreens patient before exam for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examinationPrepares patients for CT or diagnostic and therapeutic injection (DTI) procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned and providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedureProduces diagnostic images in assigned area and performs quality control tasks as assignedAdjusts scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriateConverses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required.Follows physicians’ orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)Maintains an orderly and clean work area to promote good safety habits for patients and co-workersMaintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements (15%) Imaging Support Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each useAssists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual Monitors medical supply inventoryAssists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise (5%) Performs other tasks as assigned
