Get to Know Your Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

• Physical Therapists provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease.
• They restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health.
• Their patients include anyone who suffers from physical limitation.
• Therapists examine patients’ medical histories and then test and measure the patients’ strength, range of motion, balance and coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration, and motor function.
• They develop appropriate treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 1 years’ experience (this requirement will be waived with a strong recommendation from an acute care or outpatient clinical affiliation)
• Current valid NJ State Physical Therapy License.
• Maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support HCP Certification.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Physical Therapy
• 2 years’ experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records a plus
