Maintenance Mechanic
FULL-TIME
$30.95/hr, plus $4000 new hire bonus, see details below
Maintain mechanical and electrical industrial food manufacturing equipment. Must be available to work 3rd shift work schedule hours 10:PM-6:30AM.Must be available to work 3rd shift schedule, 10:00PM-6:30AM, and daily overtime up to 4 hours +/- as needed.
**Must have experience with troubleshooting, repair & overhaul food processing equipment, fillers, case packagers, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, PLC controllers and drive systems.
**Must have experience with Electric & Electronic troubleshooting.
**Must have experience with Pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
Essential Duties:
* Adheres to safety, food safety, quality and legal compliance.
* Perform all work in accordance with environmental, health and safety standards, rules, regulations and practices of the facility.
* Must be able to pass training/certifications as required for qualification.
* Install, maintain and support all production related equipment utilized in processing areas.
* Use a variety of test equipment, machines, hand tools and computer aided equipment.
* Respond to equipment breakdowns and production needs in an expeditious professional manner.
* Ability to effectively troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures or breakdowns.
* Perform maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules, utilizing appropriate blueprints, diagrams, sketches, national codes and verbal/written instructions.
* Maintain a clean and orderly shop and work area.
* Assist other mechanics when performing heavy jobs.
* Must be able to work overtime, weekends and willing to move to any shift.
* Repair and maintenance of high-speed packaging equipment, dismantling and assembling multiple brands of mechanical and electrical equipment, repair and replacement of defective parts, and knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
* General understanding and compliance with all OSHA regulations, National Electrical Codes, State Mechanical Codes and other Plant/Facility Operational or safety procedures.
* Ability to comply with and execute the established preventive maintenance and work order/repair program in place.
* Document completed work as required by the supervisor.
* Compliance with all other duties as assigned.
LAX-04 WS-04
Schedule Shift start: 6:00PM or 10:00PM
Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
Monday - Friday. Weekend & Overtime, based on business needs

Qualifications - Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
- Must pass background check
- Can lift 30 lbs
- Must be at least 18+ years old
At least 2 year experience in food manufacturing.
Must possess previous experience and/or technical training in one or all of the following areas:
PLC, electrical controls and motor circuits.
Mechanical and machinist.
Hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Refrigeration.
Cutting torches, TIG and stick welding.
Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Must be available to work 3rd shift, daily OT up to 4 hours, and weekends as needed.
Experience in troubleshoot, repair & overhaul food processing equipment: fillers, case packages, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, PLC controllers and drive systems.
Experience in Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems
Experience in Heli Arch Welding
Must also successfully complete a skills assessment test during 1st interview.
$4000 new hire incentive
This bonus is up to $4000 based on time worked. Th bonus will pay out at 4 installments during the first year as follow: 30 workdays, 90 workdays, 180 workdays, and 365 workdays.
