CARDIOLOGY -PRN

JOB SUMMARY

The EKG Cardiology Technician performs non-invasive, diagnostic cardiology procedures (from infant to adult) to attain patient response, as directed or prescribed by a physician. Prepares patient, takes and records responses, identifies and classifies arrhythmias for physicians interpretation and advises physician of noted abnormalities. Performs general office duties as assigned. Ability to observe and obtain information, understand the range of cardiac testing needed by the patient and report significant findings to care givers to ensure that appropriate care is provided to patients. Ability to observe and obtain information, understand the range of treatment needed by the patient and report significant findings to appropriate care givers toe ensure that appropriate care is provided to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Required High School Diploma High school diploma

• 2-4 years Required

• EKG Certification

• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
