Job Summary
Our registered clinical nurse leader’s work in collaborative environments with
strong interdisciplinary teams, focused on a patient centered care model in a
richly diverse work space. Under the direction and general supervision of the
Nurse Manager, the clinical nurse leader utilizes evidence based practices in
accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the
hospital and as directed by the medical staff. The clinical nurse leader who
through knowledge and ability uses the nursing process to develop a plan of
care which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional
spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family. The
clinical nurse leader is recognized as professional role model and clinical
expert who delegates and supervises work appropriately reporting to Nurse
Manager.
High 12 is
one of the largest medical units in the system with 46 beds and 25 telemetry
monitors. They utilize a Clinical Nurse Leader to help support the team as a
resource during off shift hours. Their patient population may encompass any
general medicine patient, and typically have multi system symptoms.
Qualifications
Education: BS degree required* OR 5 Years’ RN Experience in lieu of BS degree.
*Exceptions to the educational requirement will be evaluated on an individual basis. For example, a strong candidate in the process of completing the educational requirement will be considered. Continued progress toward completion of the educational requirement within five years will be required.
Experience: Minimum one-year nursing experience.
Licensure, Certification, Registration
Current RN CT License.
