Avera is currently seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.
$25,000, $35,000 or $50,000 sign-on bonus!

Job Summary
- The CRNA is accountable for providing anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients within Avera Holy Family
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of an Associate of Science in Nursing Degree program, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field required.
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia preferred.
- Previous experience as a CRNA is preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Upon hire
- Licensed as an APRN in the State of Iowa and board certified or eligible from the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Within three months
- Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters and every three years thereafter.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Day shift
- On call every other weekend
- On call every other holiday
- Will be on call 24/7 every other week
