Systems Administrator Senior (Storage) joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).
HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR (STORAGE) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - Installs, operates, and maintains network and storage technologies including VEEAM, NetApp, Veritas NetBackup, Brocade Fiber Channel, HPE StoreOnce Systems, tape libraries and backup to disk
- Installs patches and performs system updates
- Manages storage allocation, space, and replication strategies
- Analyzes and resolves problems related to storage systems and network storage solutions
- Troubleshoots and restores complex storage problems across the enterprise related to replication strategies and storage strategies across wide area networks
- Recovers data when required
- Provides recommendations on storage upgrades and supports project integration as required
- Configures, monitors, and troubleshoots NAS protocols and solutions
- Creates and configures volumes, disk shelves, and RAID groups
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: - Education: Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master's with 10 years of experience
- Required Skillset:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Storage Area Network (SAN) administration and support
- Comprehensive Knowledge of VMware vSphere
- Comprehensive knowledge of IP based storage technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and software
- Knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI; Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract
- Required Certification(s):
- Required Security Environment Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent
- Required Computing Environment (CE) certification: NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIP) or NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA); NetApp Certified Support Engineer, or Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA), or Veritas Certified Professional (VCP) - Administration of Veritas NetBackup, or Dell EMC Expert - Implementation Engineer, or HPE ASE - Storage Solutions Architect, or HPE Master ASE - Storage Solutions Architect
- Certifications are subject to change based on contractual requirements
- Location: On Customer Site
- Additional:
- Position may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity
- Travel may be required to support the mission

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $40,557 - $54,871. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
