About the General Med/Surg 3 Department: We're seeking a registered nurse to join our team in the 43-bed Medicine III med/surg unit in the South Tower of NHRMC. This unit, with small, simple surgeries, is known for its close-knit, teamwork-oriented staff. With a range of support professionals including pharmacists, case workers, social workers, and dietitians, nurses here are empowered to provide high-quality patient care. This unit is best described as a family, where positivity, flexibility, and a passion for learning are valued. Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact required.
- One-year relevant experience, preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
