Maternal Fetal Medicine, the registered sonographer works closely with MFM providers, genetic counselors, medical assistants, nurses, and patient care representatives. We see on average between 50-75 patients between 3 MFM providers. Our sonographers are certified for cervical length examination through CLEAR and We perform all OB exams and a few GYN Pelvic exams s/p procedures.
Our OB exams include:

• Nuchal Translucency/First Trimester Anatomy
• Early Anatomy
• Detailed Anatomical Survey
• Third Trimester Anatomy
• Cervical Length Assessment
• Biophysical Profile
• Limited
• TTTS protocol with limited sonogram

• Ultrasound Guided Invasive Procedures (amniocentesis, CVS, D&C/D&E, Saline Sonohysterogram)
• Fetal Echo
• Doppler studies (umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery, ductus venosus, umbilical vein)
• We see a wide range of patient diagnoses on a daily basis from congenital cardiac defects, skeletal dysplasia, open neural tube defects, fetal growth restriction, etc. We get multiple add-ons through-out the day.

• COVID:
o Verification that each assigned individual is “fully vaccinated” or has received a qualified exemption. An individual is considered “fully vaccinated” if it has been two weeks or more since they completed a primary vaccination series for COVID-19. The completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 is defined as the administration of a single-dose vaccine (such as the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 Vaccine), or such as the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine (such as the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine).
o If your traveler will not be “fully vaccinated” two weeks prior to the start date, please alert the Qualivis team. These situations will be sent to VHC for review.
o If your traveler is requesting a religious or medical COVID exemption, it will be up to the agency to “approve” and provide supporting documentation.
• FLU:
o The Flu vaccine is required during flu season. (Oct 1st - Mar 31st) Declination is only acceptable for medical reasons. Travelers that wish to decline will need a Dr's note stating why they are unable to received the flu vaccination and will be required to wear a mask anytime they are within 6 feet of a patient. Dr's note must be recent and it must be clear that traveler can not receive the flu vaccine for the current season.
