THE ROLE

A Technology Architect, Pardot for our Salesforce Marketing Practice is a strategic position to our customers. This role is heavily involved in solution design and is hands-on with build work. Technology Architects are experienced consultants and are depended on by our customers for technical vision and proactive and strategic advice.


RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serve as a subject matter expert on marketing automation and expertly communicate complex information and concepts to clients and project stakeholders.
- Lead consultative engagements including workshops with customers on technical and business goals and challenges.
- Use your business analyst skills to document comprehensive customer user stories, requirements, and technical overviews of solutions.
- Define, build, and deliver detailed solution based on customers’ business needs and their current environment, including its limitations.
- Present to customer stakeholders from both technical and business backgrounds.
- Manage the lead lifecycle by implementing and optimizing processes around lead scoring, qualification, and sales hand-off.
- Implement best practices for account-based marketing. Increase campaign efficiency, engagement, and effectiveness through optimal use of the marketing database.
- Assist in the development, management, and optimization of martech infrastructure.
- Find opportunities to optimize conversion across the lead generation and sales funnel.
- Establish, maintain, and optimize scalable marketing processes for campaign and lead generation and lead management.
- Manage cross functional relationships with other teams to deliver needs within defined SLAs.
- Consult on the framework of campaigns, lead routing, data ingestion, and data management between sales and marketing systems.
- Consult on and implement new tools while simultaneously learning those tools as well as teaching others about them.
- Manage solution related documentation.
- Understand enterprise database design and create ERD diagrams that complement the data schemas required by the proposed solution.
- Estimate the effort required to implement the proposed solution.
- Average of up to 25% travel
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

- 5 Years experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) implementations
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Understand end-to-end marketing processes including campaign creation (email/web/social), lead generation, lead scoring, qualification, distribution, and conversion, including closed loop reporting, by demonstrating CRM technologies and data.
- Understands APIs available in Pardot to develop integration solutions, when necessary
- Experience with sync processes and limitations with Salesforce.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Marketing data shared between Pardot and Salesforce


PREFERRED

- Pardot Specialist and Pardot Consultant certifications
- Experience in enterprise consulting
- Experience with building B2B Marketing Analytics dashboards
- Understands available connectors to Pardot to push/pull data between systems

WORK AUTHORIZATION

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)


SALARY AND COMPENSATION

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 – $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
