Job Purpose

About this Position:
Security Technology Administrator provides direction, coordination, and management in the following areas: Technical security operations for all U.S. HDMA facilities and HDMA Security Operations Center, Badge and ID operations for Ohio based security operations. SME for the Honda NA security enterprise access control system.

Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities include:
• Manage security technology operations for Honda manufacturing facilities in the U.S. including the Security Operations Center, and Badge & I.D. operations. Oversee training programs and assist in the development of companywide security policies and procedures.
• Manage and oversees a major portion of the Corporate Security Budget to include physical security operations, electronic system development, maintenance/repairs and installations. Includes managing and proving consultative services to affiliate companies related to the overall security budgets.
• Maintains the overall condition, operations, and accountability for all departmental equipment and systems (i.e., Security, CCTV, Life Safety, Visitor Management, Incident Tracking System, radios, phones, etc.) used to provide security services for manufacturing sites. Manage and oversee the planning, design, and installation of all security/card access, closed circuit television systems, and other support systems at manufacturing facilities. Partner and manager multiple vendor relationships for new work, repair and maintenance at all manufacturing sites.
• Plans department projects for security and infrastructure improvements, and oversees paperwork pertaining to purchase requisitions, service contracts, and invoices relevant to Security Technology, National Communications, Electronic, fire/security system Installations, System repair & maintenance. Negotiation and compliance enforcement of contracts.
• Coordinates and oversees contracted Security Technology team or vendor provided services of same at manufacturing sites.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:
• Knowledge in all aspects of Security / Security Management to include proficiency in local/state building codes/regulations and Americans with Disability Act (ADA) requirements with additional training and/or experience in the areas of security management, negotiation and procurement techniques.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints

Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or equivalent of 10+ years in the field of Security Management and Administration with responsibilities for directing and supporting the development and implementation of national procedures and programs specifically in the areas of Physical/Electronic security Management, Security Administration, Planning/Budgeting, Bid/Construction Review and Security Program development.
• Lenel OnGuard Certified Expert, w/ up-to-date certifications
• Milestone XProtect basic training certifications

Desired Skills:
• Plan and design all security/card access, fire life safety, and closed circuit television systems.

Working Conditions

Additional Position Factors:
• Travel required. Estimated @ 20% of time.
• Physically must be able to navigate safely through industrial setting and construction site
• Work hours vary including weekends & holidays, as required to support business operations
