ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prepare material take-offs and verification on existing and new product categories
- Maintain system set-up and customization
- Develop and maintain specifications and scopes of work
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
- Responsible for bid collection, specification details, plan updates, software implementation
- Correlate with Construction management regarding adjustments to plans, vendors, materials, etc.
- Ongoing process improvement tasks between purchasing, design studio, and sales
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE- BA in Construction Management, Building Sciences, or related discipline
- 3+ years minimum of residential or commercial material take-off experience
- Experience in Construction Estimating
- Skilled user in MS Excel, New Star, BuildPro/SupplyPro a plus.
- Proven experience with floor plan development and design
- Strong interpersonal and technical skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities or projects
