ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare material take-offs and verification on existing and new product categories
  • Maintain system set-up and customization
  • Develop and maintain specifications and scopes of work
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Responsible for bid collection, specification details, plan updates, software implementation
  • Correlate with Construction management regarding adjustments to plans, vendors, materials, etc.
  • Ongoing process improvement tasks between purchasing, design studio, and sales


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
  • BA in Construction Management, Building Sciences, or related discipline
  • 3+ years minimum of residential or commercial material take-off experience
  • Experience in Construction Estimating
  • Skilled user in MS Excel, New Star, BuildPro/SupplyPro a plus.
  • Proven experience with floor plan development and design
  • Strong interpersonal and technical skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities or projects
