Under the direct supervision, guidance and discretion of a radiologist, this position is responsible for patient assessment, patient management, and performance of a broad range of radiology diagnostic and interventional services. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population.
Education Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Assistant Program required.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Certification and registered by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)ORCertification by the Certification Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants (CBRPA) or board eligible.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year
