What You'll Do:
Registered Nurses at The Pines at Glens Falls play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments
- Developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical status
- Providing wound care and other nursing interventions
- Collaborating with the resident care team to ensure the delivery of holistic care
- Being a role model, training and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to deliver quality care

What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of a Registered Nurse include:
- Valid NY Registered Nurse license (RN)
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
