The Village at Victory Lakes, a part of Franciscan Ministries,is hiring a Transportation Attendant who is customer focused to become a part of a healthcare company whose mission is to celebrate life and serve with joy. They are responsible for the safe transportation of the residents of the campus; in accordance with the IL Department of Transportation regulations and campus policies and procedures. We currently have a full-time open for our campus.
Shift Available:
- Full-time:
- Sunday: 7:00am to 12:00pm
- Monday: 9:30am to 6:00pm
- Tuesday: 9:30am to 6:00pm
- Wednesday: 9:30am to 6:00pm

Duties and responsibilities:
- Transport residentson outings and trips; while also assisting the department associates as needed.
- Follow safety policies and procedures
- Ensure wheelchairs are secure prior to operation the bus and operating the bus chair lift in a safe manner.
- Promote a team environment within the department and facility.
- Participates in all required in-services and/or department meetings.
- Maintains the Maintenancelog for the buses.
- Knows the preferred name of each resident and address them accordingly.
Required skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years experience
- Current Driver's License
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work as needed, weekends and holidays
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
