We are seeking a(an) Respiratory Therapy Lead for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary and Qualifications
Provides shift supervision and monitors day to day assessment, treatment and services within the Respiratory department. Develops and implements the Respiratory Care Plan based upon Clinical Practice Guidelines.
What qualifications you will need:
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT or CRT
- Certification through the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care)
- Completion of a two year AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years RRT Experience: critical care and intubation experience preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care hospital. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and are a Level II Trauma Center. We are a teaching hospital in collaboration with UCF College of Medicine. Our hospital is conveniently and centrally located in the Heart of Kissimmee.
