Outstanding opportunity to joinanational leader in Neurosurgery.The Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCarehas a new opportunity available for aNeurosurgery Cerebrovascular Physician Assistant/APRNto join our Advanced Practice team atSt. Vincent’s Medical Center,located in Bridgeport, CT.
Practice autonomously, but collaboratively with a team of attending neurosurgeons, and APPs providing advanced specialized care to neurosurgical patient’s intracranial cases, neurovascular, neurotrauma, neuro-interventional radiological cases.
This role will include coverage of both hospital and clinic patients’ weekdays.
Job details:
·Managing neurosurgical patients on the floor and ICU setting.
·Intake H&Ps, progress notes, consultations, pre- and post-operative care, and discharges.
·Providing neurosurgical clinic coverage.
·First assisting the attending neurosurgeon interventional suite and the OR.
·Shifts include 4 – 10-hour shifts M-F

Qualifications
BE/BC NCCPA certified and CT licensed Physician Assistant or APRN with First Assist.
