Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’sclinic patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• Provides professional nursing information to patients per telephone.
• Triages phone calls from patients.
• Transcribes information given to patients on a telephone to the medical record. Presents that information to provider.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer’s status.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.

Work Schedule

• Day shift as needed; PRN

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $20.75 - $29.25 per hour
