Job Overview:

Operates and assess monitoring of patients in the Cardiac Catherization Lab. Administer individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardiac catherization lab procedures. Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures. Assists MD with Cath/PCI, peripheral, structural heart (Mitraclip, Watchman), EP cases, and neuro. Adheres to on call policy requirements. Executes special assignment with the lab. Participates in quality improvement programs and inventory control. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred but not required.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Current RCIS certification or RAD license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • Certified/Licensed CVT or RT in NJ
