Job Title: Operations Finance/Accounting and Reporting Lead
Location:Akron, Ohio
Salary Range: $120K - $150K Base,plusBonus Potential.
Our client, a Global Chemical Manufacturer based in Akron, OHis seeking an Operations Finance/Accounting and Reporting Leadto join their team on a permanent direct-hire basis. This positionwill be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on cost data. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of manufacturing-based cost accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and multiple locations.
Role will report to the Global Operations Controller based in Akron, Ohio. Job will bemostly on-site in Akron (hybrid: 3-4-days per week in office) with other days being remote from home. Local area candidates only.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining various monthly Reporting/Analytic Tools (Excel and/or PowerBI.)
- Reviewing plant Balance Sheet Accounts.
- Account Reconciliations and Journal Entries.
- Maintaining Budget & Forecast models for MultiplePlantManufacturing and Warehouse Sites.
- Analyzing Manufacturing Processes and Cost Structures to identify areas for improvement.
What’s Needed
- Degree in Accounting orFinance.
- 5-12 years of experience insupply chain finance positions, operations finance, and/or corporate accounting roles.
- SAP experience is required (S/4 Hanapreferred.)
- Advanced Excel experience is required (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, linking multiple files, etc.)
- Manufacturing environment experience highly preferred.
- Multi-site experience highly preferred.
- International experience would be a huge plus.
