Job Highlights:

· Department: CT and Radiology

· Sign On Bonus:$15,000 paid in full on 1st pay check! *

· Schedule: Thurs Day 7a - 7p St. Joe/St. Chls, Fri night 7p - 7a Wentzville, Sat. Night 7 p - 7 a St. Joe/St. Chls.

· Pay Range starts at:$29.77/hr

· Shift Differentials: Weekend Option $8.50/hr, Weekend $2/hr , Nights $3.75/hr Friday/Saturday night shifts have total of $14.25/hour differential.

· Location: SSM St. Joseph - St Charles Hospital and St. Joseph - Wentzville Hospital

ARRT required. CT certification required within 12 months of hire.

Relocation assistance is available for those outside of metro St. Louis. *

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• will work as a CT and Radiology technologist

• Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Implements radiation protection and safety standards.
• Prepares, performs and assists the physician in special and advanced procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Helps position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
• Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Associate's degree or completion of a Radiology certification program or registered in Radiology

EXPERIENCE

• No experience required

CREDENTIALS

ARRT-R is required. Ct certification is preferred. CT certification within 12 months of hire required.
