Shift Detail:NightShift (7p-7:30a)
Position Summary: Functions under the supervision of the RN in a cooperative effort with the health care team to assist in providing a variety of patient care related duties. Maintains the standards of nursing care for al patients and implements the policies and procedures of the unit, Hospital and Nursing Department.
Associates that are hired into the float pool are assigned to work in one of the following designated patient care groupings and must be willing to work in all areas of a designated patient care grouping.
Critical Care (ICU/ICSD) - All associates are required to have BLS
Acute Care (GRC/SGOR) - All associates are required to have BLS
Telemetry (PCU/OBS) - All associates are required to have BLS
Emergency Department – All associates are required to have BLS
BHU - All associates are required to have BLS
Surgical Services (OR, PACU) - All associates are required to have BLS
REQUIREMENTS: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma or GED equivalent; 1-3 years of experience; Basic computer skills; Synquest; Medical terminology; Hoyer lift; Communication devices; Specialty beds; Automatic B/P cuff; GNA / CNA Licensure; BLS card from AHA.
