Engineering Manager - Machine Vision
Overview:
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of talented engineers to deliver innovative machine vision and robotics solutions for our diverse client base. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Machine Vision team, ensuring project success, team development, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Machine Vision team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of machine vision and robotics projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Client Relations: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional technical solutions.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for improvement to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term strategies for the Machine Vision team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, or Robotics Engineering.
- 5-15 years of experience in manufacturing and industrial controls.
- 3-5 years of proven leadership and management experience.
- 3-5 years of project management experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electrical design, and design supervision.
- Expertise in factory automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, machine vision, or motion control.
- Proven track record of working with industrial clients.
- Experience in software development and programming languages (e.g., microcontrollers, robotics, mechatronics, machine learning, imaging technology).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
