Lead Java Full Stack Engineer
We are seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Engineer with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Facets Jira GIT Spring Framework Oracle PL/SQL Angular SOAP REST Web Services JQuery JavaScript and Java 8. Experience in the Payer domain is a plus. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with our company’s goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Demonstrate sound knowledge of Industry best practices.
· Work in a team environment. Mentor and coach, the team members.
· Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
· Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.
· Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.
Qualifications:
· 10+ years in web application development using Java Programming Language
· 10+ years in working with Web Services (SOAP RESTful)
· 10+ years of experience with UI development (JSP jQuery JavaScript framework such as Vue/Angular/React)
· 10+ years working with Oracle (SQL/Stored Procedures)
· 5+ years working with Spring framework Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming Strong understanding of security principals
· Understanding of cross-browser compatibility
· Effective communications both verbally and written
· Ability to work independently and team
· Experience with repository tools such as Git or Bitbucket
· Experience with project tracking systems such as Jira
· Experience with Agile/Waterfall Development Methodology
· Experience with Facets
· Insurance Industry knowledge

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 – $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
