Location Description: Michael Foods, Inc. located in Klingerstown, Pennyslvania known for their ice cream socials at Klingerstown Lutheran Parish, fishing rodeo, and fireman's parade. Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for collecting,reconciling, inputtingand interpreting data to ensure accurate reporting offinished goodand semi-finished goodproduction andconsumption ofmaterials used. This person generates reports which provide information as totheperformance of the plant, specifically the Precooked Operations,againststandardKey Performance Indicators.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Reconcile daily liquid inventories
•Confirm production for precooked/liquid processes
•Generate variousdaily, weekly and monthlyreports based on collected/ interpreted datarelated to material shrink, line performance (Overall Equipment Efficiency),resource downtime and loss events
•Reconcilecyclecount inventory adjustmentsforingredientsandpackaging.
•Participate on SRMP team.
•Expected to adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained in order to maintainSQF Level 3 certification. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
•Performs other duties as assigned
- Provide administrative assistance to other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
•Abilityto calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages,fractions, ratios. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and drawvalid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
•Ability to bevery detailed oriented
•Math skills
•Customerservice capabilities
•Basic computer skills with ability to input data into the SAP system
•Light typing skills
•Ability to work indoors in normal office setting for duration of shift.
•Ability to answer phones and receive pertinent information
