SUMMARY
The Mobile Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing screening mammograms, mobile unit inspection, quality control tests, gathering patient histories and performing client intake, troubleshooting patient flow delays and mechanical and technical issues

Rochester Regional Health’s Mobile Mammography Center offers state-of-the-art breast cancer screenings in Western New York and the Finger Lakes Region. Our mobile coach travels daily, ensuring that patients in traditionally underserved or rural communities have access to early breast cancer detection services.

ATTRIBUTES

  • NYS License in Radiologic Technology

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT)

  • Commercial Driver License (CDL) to be obtained within four (4) months of hire date.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patient Care. Responsible for performing screening mammograms, gathering patient histories, and performing client intake. Operates digital imaging equipment

  • Documentation. Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts

  • Coach. Driving the Mobile Mammography Coach throughout 9 counties within the Finger Lakes Region; Ensures proper safety standards are met; Assists in maintaining supply inventory

Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree preferred.
Radiology Technologist and Mammography experience preferred.

Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
•NYS License in Radiologic Technology.
•American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) Required.
Commercial Driver License (CDL) to be obtained within 4 months of hire date.

NYS CDL - New York State Commercial Driver License (class A, B or C) - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV), RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED), RTC - Radiologic Technologist certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
