Position Location:

This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.

What you do:

  • Provide strategic leadership leading key areas including procurement, accounts payable, benefits accounting, and accounting reconciliations; ensuring each function operates at its best and aligns with the overall business goals.
  • Ensure compliance and excellence overseeing financial reporting support activities, accounting projects, and the accounting reconciliation control environment, ensuring that all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and audit standards while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency by designing and implementing plans and initiatives that not only address current business needs but also build capabilities needed for a more effective and efficient future state.
  • Guides business strategy by owning and directing the development of business support strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and successful achievement of key business outcomes.
  • Create and communicate a compelling vision and strategy for the Accounting & Finance team, inspiring associates to reach new heights and align with the organization’s long-term goals.
  • Cultivate a competitive edge by staying externally aware of market trends and leveraging that knowledge to benefit the organization.
  • Invest in the growth and development of associates and business resources, ensuring the team is well-equipped to meet current and future challenges.
  • Represent the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values by exemplifying strong leadership and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strengthen internal and external relationships to support, promote, and grow the business, ensuring a strategic network of partnerships that drive success.
  • Act as an enterprise-wide contributor by partnering with leaders across the organization on cross-division initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared success.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 10+ years of relevant accounting experience required.
  • 7-10 years of supervisory experience required.
  • CPA designation is desired.
