Shift:Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36 hrs/week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
  • NC license
  • 3 YearsExperience
  • Skills: Telemetry, Vents
  • ACLS, BCLS, NIH
Others:
  • Unit Systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
  • Must Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
  • Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID
  • Unit does not accept first time travelers
  • Ratios: 1: 3-6, Flex based on patient populations (PCU-M/S). this position will take MS up to PCU depending on needs
  • Patient Diagnoses: Caring for patients across the inpatient spectrum from medical surgical, cardiac, progressive care/step down, and stroke
  • Traveler will work with the CNRO(Centralized Resource Nursing Pool)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Years required.
Traveler Experience: unit does NOT accept first time travelers

JOB DETAILS:
Ratios: 1: 3-6, Flex based on patient populations (PCU-M/S). this position will take MS up to PCU depending on needs.
Shift: NIGHTS 36 hours only, Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!!
Float Requirement: Yes, traveler will work with the CNRO(Centralized Resource Nursing Pool)
Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
**Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

SCHEDULING TYPE: Based on scheduling gaps
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
SCRUBS: Navy

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
