6E 24-bed Intermediate Care Unit specializing in the care of primarily pulmonary patients. These high acuity patients typically have a variety of
secondary diagnoses providing a broad patient care experience. A unit secretary, monitor technician and patient care associates round out the
patient care team.
The nurse to patient ratio is typically 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift.
