The Executive Housekeeper is to provide guests with an excellent room experience, ensuring that all operational standards and procedures for the Housekeeping and Laundry Department (including brand and Atrium requirements) are being followed by all Associates. We are looking for a highly organized, detailed, and focused leader of our housekeeping team, to drive forth the hotel and brand standards of our 466-room hotel. We offer a competitive wage and total rewards package.
Starting Salary: $75K-$80K
TheExecutive Housekeeperwill be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
Ensurefinancial goals of the department and the hotel are being met by managing labor costs, controlling expenses for supplies and equipment, and determining revenue-driving and cost-savinginitiatives;
Createa best-in-class guest experience by engaging with guests, providing friendly service,meeting operational standards,resolving guest concerns,and ensuring that all Associates in Housekeeping and Laundry are doinglikewise;
Training andeducating Associates regarding brand standards andCleanlinessAssured;
Managethe department byensuringAssociates understand employment practices, recommending employment decisionsand corrective action, supporting performance management, and implementingdiscipline;
Provideservices to guests in an efficient and timely manner bycoordinating with other departments andpeers;
Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operationalefficiency;
Performand/or assist with cleaning duties asnecessary;
Maintain records and daily reports ofoperations;
Maintain an accurate record of lost and founditems;
Practicehotel emergency procedures to include fire, life, andsafety;
Monitor property condition, cleanliness, and quality of product and service throughouthotel;
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe workconditions;
Supportother departments as needed based on business demands;and
Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
RequiredPrior Experience:
3+ years of experience in Hotel Management
Preferred Prior Experience:
3+ years of experience in Housekeeping Management
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Associates degree or higher in hospitality, business, or related field
Required Technology:
Basic computer knowledge, including the Microsoft Suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook, andTeams
Experience with hotel information systems
Required Physical:
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionally
Able to stand and/or walk for duration of scheduled shift
Required Other:
Flexible to working days, early mornings,evenings,nightsweekends, holidays, and special events
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Other:
Bi-Lingual
