Job Description:
CT Technologist - MSK Commack
Join our Radiology team at MSK Commack! We are seeking a CT Technologistatour freestanding outpatient facilitylocated in Commack, Long Island.
Role Overview:
- Perform a variety of CT. and X-ray imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups.
- Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and practices.
- Explain procedures to patients, monitoring for patient safety and comfort, administering contrast (IV and/or Oral).
- Conduct imaging in accordance to established protocols and quality standards.
- Enter complete and accurate documentation into all MSK/Radiology systems.
- Perform general radiology procedures.
Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree / Certified Vocational Training or Graduate of a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school.
- ARRT in Radiography and CT
- Minimum 2 yrs experience in CT preferred and operating GE systems.
- NYS Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography, IV Certification
- Registered/certified in MR a plus or working towards certification.

Additional Information:
- Location: MSK Commack, in Commack, Long Island.
- Schedule: 8 hours flexed between 7am to 8pm, 4days, Monday – Friday and 8 hours flexed between 7am to 4pm, every Saturday.
- Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology
Pay Range: $45.29-$72.42/hr.
$10,000 bonus for new hires!
