HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Prioritizing Quality Policies and Programs–With a focus in continuous improvement, you will be responsible for the development, compliance, and certification of the Quality programs for the facility. You will be delivering the required standards of quality according to both Kellogg and Regulatory policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Strengthening Partnerships –Collaborate with Food Safety and Sanitation team members to assure successful program implementations and the use of best practices. You’ll also work closely with other plant employees to ensure compliance and identify quality deviations. With strong people skills and an eye for details, you’ll help us reach new heights.
  • Emphasizing Best Practices–You will be confirming adherence to required quality and food safety laws, regulations, corporate policies, and practices.
  • Managing People and Team Leadership –Supervise a team of Quality Auditors and Inspectors and influence cross-functional teams by being responsible for maintaining quality in a 24/7 operation. We want you to leverage your supervisory skills and strong ability to influence! You’ll develop, inspire, and energize the team towards a high standard of performance and self-accountability.Like being the go-to resource Gr-r-reat!
  • Providing Cross-Functional Training–You will be accountable for quality for all hours of operation and providing training insuring compliance and execution of required programs. You will also ensure the plant is being held accountable to all standard work processes.
  • Managing Facility Audits–You will be managing facility inspections, traceability, testing, vendor auditing, and microbial program compliance. You will ensure key traceability, inspection program management, vendor management, and microbial program metrics are established, and deliver the established metrics and Key Performance Indicators.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology,and/orsubstantial experience in quality & food safety.
  • Frequently demonstrated quality and food safety experience in a manufacturing environment
  • SQF Practitioner, PCQI, Food defense, and HACCP certification are a Bonus.
  • Technical knowledge of quality & food safety with including GMP and food safety standards in accordance with the FDA, USDA and CFIA.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work well independently and as a member of a team.
  • Computer software skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
  • SAP software experience
