Our client, a leading provider in the food services industry, is seeking aCookto join their team. As aCook, you will be part of the culinary team supporting a major training and development facility. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Cook
Location: Madison, WI
Pay Range: $18.00-$19.00/hr
Shift: 11:30am - 8:00pm
What’s the Job
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items.
- Support meal preparation for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
- Ensure all food items are cooked to the correct temperature and specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
What’s Needed
- 2+ years experience in cooking and food preparation, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility with scheduling, as shifts may vary between early morning and late evening.
