Sodexo’s growing HealthcareTechnology Management (HTM) Division is seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with proven success as an experiencedBiomedical Equipment Technician II with OR, ICU and/or sterilizer experience to support services for Guthrie Robert Packer HospitalinSayre, PA.
The main role/responsibilities of theBiomedical Equipment Technician2will be to ensure all related biomedical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, strong technical skills and a commitment to deliver excellent repair service in an expedient manner.
The idealBiomedical Equipment Technician IIshould have:
- Experience in OR, ICU and/or sterilizer strongly preferred
- minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
- experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- the ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices
- excellent communication, customer service and time management skills

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
