CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.

  • Develop new concepts for products and features in alignment with the objectives of the Shared Business Services Organization (SBS) and assess UKG Pro WFMs progress with input from Delivery Team and Scrum Masters
  • Create user stories detailing business requirements against business outcomes with Business Leaders, business users, and the WFM Center of Excellence to prioritize all stories and to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that align with the Workforce Management strategy
  • Responsible to ensure UKG Pro WFM functional and technical deliverables (end-to-end) created from the business user stories and coordinating with the right stakeholders
  • Conduct / support formal performance reviews, celebrating hard work, individual and team success
  • Comprehend key business objectives and requirements for UKG Pro WFM to make final decisions on functionality
  • Provide feedback to the work of the WFM Center of Excellence to help them define a product strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams/processes to ensure a shared understanding of requirements for successful deployment, including program management, process management, data management, change management, and customers
  • Work in partnership with process owners to ensure the process is executed appropriately (WFM Center of Excellence, WFM Operations, WFM Compliance, WFM Platform and Integrations, HR Employment Policy and Compliance, and Business Unit Leaders)
  • Understand what is important to the customer, data standards, process standards; collect feedback from users and incorporate user feedback to enhance UKG Pro WFM features and usability
  • Understand and support inter-team and cross functional team dependencies and escalate issues with the coordination of the WFM Center of Excellence Manager
  • Groom the product backlog, breaking down epics and estimating user stories in collaboration with the delivery team
  • Track the progress towards the releases of UKG Pro WFM features and communicate to the relevant stakeholders
  • Communicate UKG Pro WFM vision, roadmap and business intent to the Scrum/delivery team and ensure close collaboration
  • Coordinate with Scrum team, set and communicate release date and scope
  • Assist with development of product training that aligns with the organization's change management plan
  • Collaborate with Key users and SMEs to ensure the process enrichment and the enhancements of the solutions.
  • 19. Develop acceptance criteria to ensure thorough testing of the solution Actively review Release Notes and identify new features or functionality that will support business outcomes and processes and review these with the WFM Center of Excellence Manager

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred:

  • Six Sigma, Lean training

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 5+ years in an agile delivery framework, or requirement development or Product Owner role or equivalent project management experience.
  • 5+ years experience in managing projects or the delivery of technology solutions including business-specific and enterprise applications in alignment with business outcomes and objectives
  • Prior knowledge of key process and technical products within Workforce Management (Attendance, Accruals, Pay Policies, Forecasting, and Scheduling)
  • Experience working with SaaS Solutions
  • Experience with, and strong understanding of Product Ownership for Agile Scrum Teams
  • Proven ability to analyze complex cross functional business process and defining integrated user stories using industry standard techniques
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to influence peers and executives, as well as external partners
  • Experience defining and leading the delivery of an API portfolio that is consumable by both internal and external parties.
  • Strong work ethic demonstrated attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a close team environment.
  • Ability to listen to and understand business needs.

  9. Prior product ownership experience and leading teams effectively

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • 5+ years of product management or equivalent project management experience
  • 5+ years leading delivery of technology solutions including business-specific and enterprise applications in alignment with business objectives
  • 5+ years of managing projects
  • Experience owning/driving user stories and definition
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery
  • Experience with story delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience of influencing multiple teams and stakeholders
  • New Product Development / Stage Gate process experience
