As aCentral Maintenance Planner,you will be accountable for all outsourcedthird-party breakdown repair orders daily.You will coordinate responseto all breakdown events in accordance with vendor availability and capabilityto minimize maintenance delays and maximize asset availability.

  • Receive all incoming Fleet Maintenance related calls,including driver breakdowns;
  • Coordinate response to vehicle breakdowns by utilizingour nationwide network of preferred service providers;
  • Manage all third-party repair orders for our NationalAccount Breakdown Service providers;
  • Review all quotes received while on shift and identifyareas where repair cost can be reduced/ eliminated;
  • Identify rework scenarios where repairs should be deniedand or be covered under warranty;
  • Identify repairs that should be covered under OEM oraftermarket parts suppliers’ warranty;
  • Coordinate with third party vendors to collect quotes,invoices and preventative maintenance forms;
  • Create purchase orders for third-party breakdownrepairs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • 1+ years of transportation coordination experiencerequired;
  • 1+ year of Customer Service experience required;
  • Call center experience preferred;
  • Ability to create actionable items out of data andinformation;
  • Strategic planning, coupled with tactical execution;
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications - MS Excel, MSOutlook, MS Access, MS project
