Journeyman Mechanics will:
- Be responsible for repairing, installing, and troubleshooting production equipment in a corrugated production/converting plant in an efficient, high quality, and safe manner.
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work requirements.
- Install, align, take apart and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions.
- Work on a rotating shift schedule between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
Qualifications for Journeyman Mechanic
A technical associates degree or Journeyman certificate in an relevant field is required. General knowledge of gear drives, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulic systems is required for this Journeyman Mechanic role.
Compensation & Benefits
As a Journeyman Mechanic, you'll make $35.17 per hour on day one and have access to our two health and wellness clinics. Services are completely free for all employees and their dependents!
