Informatica IICS Lead/ Architect
Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Architect with 9 to 13 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in IDMC Oracle SQL PostgreSQL and Unix Shell Scripting. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This hybrid role offers a day shift with no travel requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead the migration of Informatica PC code to IDMC.
Oversee the integration of various data sources using ETL processes.
Provide expertise in Cloud Data Warehousing to optimize data storage and retrieval.
Develop and maintain SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting.
Ensure seamless data integration across multiple platforms.
Utilize Informatica Cloud to manage data workflows and transformations.
Implement Unix Shell Scripting to automate routine tasks and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address data requirements.
Monitor and troubleshoot scheduling issues using External Scheduler tools.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems.
Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of data processes.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture and processes.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Scheduling Basics External Scheduler ETL Cloud DWH SQL Data Integration Informatica Cloud and Unix Shell Scripting.
Have a minimum of 9 years and a maximum of 13 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing data architecture solutions.
Show proficiency in developing and maintaining SQL queries.
Have experience with Unix Shell Scripting for automation.
Exhibit knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance domain (nice to have).
Display strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Possess excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
Show a commitment to staying updated with industry trends and technologies.
Demonstrate the ability to document processes and solutions comprehensively.
Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data-related issues.
Be detail-oriented and focused on ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Certifications Required

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $81,848 – $135,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
