The Regional Industrial Engineer will be part of team working to develop, implement, sustain and drive results from the Labor Management System (LMS) in the Logistics region. The regional industrial engineer will be part of the larger reporting and analytics time and work directly with site teams to facilitate the Labor Management System (LMS) and its use at their regional DSCs. This position will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on the Labor Management System (LMS) and Engineering to their regional site teams. Their main duties include providing support in regards to the operation of the LMS at their sites, assisting the development and growth of the Labor Management System (LMS) across the division, driving results in productivity and financial areas from the LMS, identifying Continuous Improvement and operational improvements, providing engineering support as necessary.

  • Provide assistance and guidance to site teams in the operation and sustainability of the LMS at a site level.
  • Assist with the growth and evolution of the LMS through the Labor Management System (LMS) Quarterly Standard Review Process.
  • Contribute to the development of Labor Management System (LMS) through new function modelling existing function upgrades.
  • Support the Labor Management System (LMS) team in creating and leveraging Preferred Work Methods and accompanying Engineering Labor Standards for DSC operational processes.
  • Use Engineered data, time studies, observations, and historical performance to identifying opportunities in DSC operations through the Labor Management System (LMS).
  • Drive the development and leveraging of Labor Management System (LMS) training documentation for all levels of DSC site teams.
  • Assist with and own strategic CI projects related to the Labor Management System (LMS) at regional DSCs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) of the Labor Management System (LMS) and Industrial Engineering for regional site teams.
  • Work with Data Analytics team to assist with development of reporting and analytical tools.
  • Steer Data Analytics team in gathering quality data and conclusions for engineering work.
  • Assist with the guidance of the IT-AWCS teams in developing, growing and troubleshooting tools related to the Labor Management System (LMS).
  • Provide front line support and troubleshooting for the Labor Management System (LMS) end user tools.
  • Provides input to strategic projects in the realm of the Labor Management System (LMS) and Engineering.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and information in regards to Industrial Engineering in the logistics space.
  • Development of Systems, Tools and Processes

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have Bachelor's of Science in Engineering
  • Must have one (1) year experience working with a manufacturing or distribution facility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have at least an Industrial Engineering Degree
  • Have at least two (2) years of work experience in manufacturing, engineering, or operations
  • Have at least two (2) years experience with Tableau
