Our team at Cadillac Products Automotive Company (CPAC) is eagerly seeking a great Maintenance Manager to fill this open role at our Roseville facility. This position is open now and we are serious about making a hire as soon as we find the right person.
This facility is located at 29784 Little Mack, Roseville, MI 48066. We have about 30 production people on staff at this facility, about 20 of which are on 1st shift. This facility has a great team and culture. We are not very corporate, but we are very big on work-life balance, and have a great relationship with the union here.
CPAC is a 4th generation, family owned and operated business. We have a total of 5 facilities and over 200 employees in total.
As a Maintenance Manager on our team, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the maintenance team:
- 5 Union Maintenance Techs
- 3 on day shift (5-6 machines always running)
- 1 on 2nd shift (2-3 machines)
- 1 on 3rd shift (2 machines running)
- You must be willing to teach, train, mentor and develop the teamas you collaborate with them to address all the Machinery and Facilities maintenance needs of this plant
Here are some of the types of Machines your team will take care of:
- Extruders, Grinders, In Line Thermo Forming
- Hydraulic Presses
- Some Fanuc, and other robotics - maybe 12
- Ability to review Ladder Logic (PLCs) is helpful
- 1 CNC with a dedicated person
General skills you'll need to manage the team of maintenance techs:
- Technical familiarity with Electronics (controls) and Electrical Power Supply
- Preventative Maintenance:
- Using an ERP (preferably PLEX) to manage a PM schedule/program
- We have a pretty well built-out PM module - you just need to manage
The schedule for this role and at this plant looks like:
- Plant running 5 days/week, 3 shifts
- Maintenance Manager works something like 6 am - 4 pm, Monday through Friday
- 40-44 hrs/week
