Shift:Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week,Every other weekend coverage

Requirements:
- MD License
- Minimum 1 year PCU/Tele experience
- Must have Post Cardiac Cath procedure experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
Other Details:
- 48-bed cardiac telemetry unit.We primarily receive patients from the ED, cath lab and other inpatient units
- Nurse to patient ratio is 4:1and can go to 5:1 depending on unit needs
- Floating is required if needed
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical Exemptions Only

PCU is a 48-bed cardiac telemetry unit. We primarily receive patients from the ED, cath lab and other inpatient units. Nurse to patient ratio is 4:1and can go to 5:1 depending on unit needs. Utilization of PCAs (CNAs) and LPNs in a team nursing approach. Fast paced unit with quick patient turnover. In need of nurses who are comfortable taking care of patients on drips including amiodarone, cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, nitro, lasix and insulin. Must have post cardiac cath procedure experience.
We expect timely discharge of our patients, hourly rounding and bedside shift report completed on all patients.
Floating is required if needed. Every other weekend coverage. Scheduling is based on unit needs

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.
Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
