Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MICU 48's
Shift: Days/ 7a-7:30p, 12x4, 48hrs per week, will accept 36hrs
Length: 13 weeks
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
Requirements:
- IN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Skillset Requirements: Conscious Sedation, Telemetry, Vents, Trauma Level I or II, and IV Start
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- Trauma Level I and Level II Experience
- TNCC Preferred
Others:
- Float
- First time travelers: Will accept IF their experience is from a large academic medical center
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Unknown
- Local accepted
MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.

Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH. TNCC Preferred

Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals
Staffing Ratios: 1:2
Unit Information: Critical Care Crisis Track 2 (NIH is only preferred) & manual proning, PA/Swan Lines, VAP, CAUTI, CLABI prevention, Delirium Bundles

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.
Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
