Your Day at Brightside:

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Brightside, your role may evolve over time. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client strengths, needs, and areas for growth.
  • Design and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the principles of ABA.
  • Supervise and support Behavior Technicians and team members in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
  • Oversee data collection procedures and analyze data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Provide training to caregivers and team members on ABA principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care and goal alignment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and communications in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and trends in ABA through professional development activities.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the BACB.
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a BCBA.
  • Experience in conducting assessments, developing BIPs, and overseeing ABA programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in data collection software; Rethink experience preferred.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical standards.
