ChristianaCare is currently seeking a RegisteredRespiratory Therapist ll to workFull time flex, 72 hours (36hrs/week)on day shift. Hours for the position are 6:30a.m -7p.m.. Every 3rd weekend and holiday required. This position is located at ChristianaCareWilmington Hospital only.
The Respiratory Care Department provides service for the Wilmington hospital. Respiratory Therapists provide service to all areas of the hospital as part of a specialized team including adult and infant critical care units, medical-surgical floors and emergency care.
There are approximately one hundred and fifty six full and part time therapists working throughout Christiana Care Health System. There are opportunities to become a member of one of the most involved departments in innovative therapy and research in a respected environment where you are valued as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Shift:
•Full Time Flex - three 12-hour shifts (6:30a - 7p) 36hrs/week.

Qualifications:
Graduate of CoARC Educational Accreditation Committee approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Previous acute care experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Maintains Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential and CRT from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
•Maintain Current BLS Certification
•Must be an intubator* (or become certified upon accepting position)
•Current AARC Member preferred
•Licensure in the State of Delaware required.
