Our client in North Kingstown RIis seeking an Assembler to join their team. The ideal candidate will have assembler experience and the following skills: teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and active listening skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembler Tech
Location: North Kingstown, MA
Pay rate: $19-$21/HR
Schedule: Monday to Friday 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm)
What’s the Job
- Assembles high-tolerance electronic and mechanical products to written specifications
- Crate and package finished products
- Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product
- Selects and uses wide variety of precision measuring and checking equipment
- Works under general supervision, and assumes additional related responsibilities as assigned my Management.
- Responsible for participation as directed in continuous improvement projects that positively affect safety, quality, and/or productivity, or other process improvements as identified by management.
What’s Needed
- Assembler experience is required.
- Team player: supports teammates and colleagues.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred
- Demonstrated mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Preferred – manufacturing environment exposure
- Basic computer skills, to include Microsoft Word and Excel
