Senior Proposal Manager (TS/SCI)
Maxar is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to join our U. S. Government Services team in Herndon VA., Tampa FL, Melborne FL, Colorado Springs CO, or Westminster CO.

Primary responsibilities include leading cross functional teams in the design, development, and delivery of compelling, compliant, and customer-focused proposals in accordance with Maxar’s Federal Government Proposal Process.
What you will do day-to-day
- Conducting proposal planning/scheduling, detailed RFP analysis, proposal kick-off
- Coordinating with and leading cross-functional teams (Program Management, Technical Management, Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Capture, Contracts, Security, Pricing, and Finance) to deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals in accordance with customer-defined requirements and timelines
- Providing small group and one-on-one coaching/guidance to team members and leading teams through proposal development to final delivery
- Facilitating value propositions, strength/feature/benefit development and solution development
- Developing annotated outlines, storyboards and graphics concepts
- Facilitating color team reviews (i.e., Blue, Pink, Red, Gold) and lesson learned reviews
- Preparing color review packages and providing necessary review team guidance
- Continue learning about Maxar capabilities and applying them to a diverse set of customer requirements
- Ensuring and leading on-time production and submission/post-submission activities
- At times, managing and leading multiple proposals simultaneously
- Monitoring secure government networks for potential opportunities, RFPs and bidding instructions
Required Qualification:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to acquire a TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must have excellent organizational skill, excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
- 8+ years demonstrated experience managing, writing and coordinating Federal Government proposals of moderate to high complexity
- Including large IDIQ contracts, competitive and sole source proposals, task orders, RFIs and white papers.
- Experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense and/or U.S. Intelligence Community.
- Experience in leading proposal team members in the consistent use of processes and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities while meeting high quality standards in a fast-paced environment, supporting critical business development activities under tight deadlines
- Experience as a proposal manager, book boss, volume lead, and/or proposal coordinator
- Ability to use standard English writing styles and structures to write proposal sections; including the ability to research and synthesize information from multiple sources (subject matter experts, previous proposals) into a cohesive, and persuasive final product
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Preferred Qualifications:
- A U.S. Citizen with a current/active TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience working in technical areas (software development, geospatial intelligence, modeling and simulation, technology development, etc.)
- Document layout and formatting experience
- Experience and competency working with and administering SharePoint document libraries.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. To accommodate all locations, we have listed the bottom to the top of the possible range, and will share the target range for a specific location during the recruiting discussion. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidates unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$104,000.00 - $220,000.00 annually.

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
